What this site is
ExamBank provides free study material — practice questions, explanations, guides and a dictionary of terms — for people preparing to sit a U.S. real estate license examination. Using the site means you accept these terms.
Not a pre-licensing course
Every state requires state-approved pre-licensing education before you may sit its examination, and approving that education is an act only a state can perform. We hold no such approval and have not sought one. Nothing on this site counts toward any state’s education requirement, no matter how much of it you complete.
Not an official source
Independent exam preparation. Real Estate Exam Bank is not a state-approved pre-licensing course and completing anything here does not satisfy any state education requirement. Not affiliated with, endorsed by, or authorized by any state real estate commission, Pearson VUE, or PSI. Practice questions here are original study material, not the official exam.
We name the examination vendors and state commissions to describe what our material prepares you for and to cite the documents our figures come from. That is all the reference is: we are not affiliated with any of them, we do not administer any examination, and nothing here is an official practice product.
Not legal or financial advice
Real estate law, agency duties, disclosure obligations, fair housing rules and lending regulation all appear here because they are examined. What is written is a description of general principles and how an examination asks about them. It is not legal advice, not lending advice and not advice about any transaction you are in. For a decision that affects your own property, license or money, consult someone qualified in your state.
Accuracy, and its limits
Examination facts on this site carry the document they came from and the date that document was read, and we would rather leave a fact out than guess at it. Even so: requirements change, commissions edit pages without announcement, and a figure that was right on the date printed beside it may not be right today. Where our page and the commission’s own page disagree, the commission is right and we are out of date.
No guarantee of outcome
We do not promise that using this site will help you pass anything, and we publish no pass rate, no score prediction and no guarantee. Practice scores here are a study signal, not a forecast: the examination is written by someone else, scored by someone else, and passed according to a standard your state sets.
