Privacy policy

What we collect

ExamBank does not require accounts, sign-ups or any personal information. Practice-test answers and scores are processed in your browser and are not transmitted to us or stored on our servers. We do not ask for, and have no way to receive, anything about your license application, your background check or your finances.

Hosting and server logs

The site is served through a content delivery network, which processes standard technical data — IP address, user agent, requested pages — to deliver the site securely and mitigate abuse. We do not use this data to identify individual visitors.

Analytics

We use privacy-preserving web analytics to see which pages are read and whether the site is fast enough. It sets no cookies, stores nothing in your browser, does not fingerprint you and does not follow you to other sites. What it records is aggregate — page URL, referring site, country, device type and page-load measurements — with no identifier that would let us pick out an individual visit.

We do not run advertising, and no advertising cookies are in use. If that changes, this page will be updated to name the provider and describe your choices, including any consent mechanism required in your region.

Links to other sites

Our guides and state pages link to the source documents they were written from — state commission pages and exam vendor candidate handbooks — so that you can check our figures against the original. Those sites have their own privacy practices, which we do not control.

Children

This site is study material for adults pursuing a professional license. It is not directed to children and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top of this page changes with it. There is no mailing list to notify, because we do not have your address.
